Now that the Local Place Plan consultation is complete, weโre moving forward with plans to try and improve local pathways in Gartloch! In February, we met with Seven Lochs to discuss enhancing the routes from Bishop Loch to Easterhouse, improving connectivity for local residents.
These discussions were productive, and we are now in the process of identifying/applying for funding to develop and improve these pathways. The Community Council has been working hard to support this improvement, and we remain committed to seeking further investment as more opportunities become available.

As a dog owner, itโs essential to understand your responsibilities to ensure the welfare of your pet and maintain safety. Below are key responsibilities and the relevant legislation:

Your dog’s wellbeing is a priority. Under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006, you must ensure your dog is provided with proper care, food, shelter, and exercise.
