Weโre delighted to share that, in partnership with Seven Lochs Wetland Park, weโve secured over ยฃ100,000 in grant funding under the Vacant and Derelict Land Fund to create designs for improvements to the Craigend Shops civic space ๐
This builds on the successful development of our Local Place Plan, which captured the priorities and aspirations of residents across Craigend. Now, weโre moving forward with technical design work that will run from now until December 2025.
๐ Watch this space โ weโll be inviting you to share your ideas, join in local events, and help shape the future of Craigend. Community involvement will be central to ensuring the final designs reflect what residents and local businesses want to see.
๐ ๏ธ This is just the first phase โ we fully expect to continue this work and move into construction in the near future, bringing real, visible change to the heart of Craigend.
