Now that the Local Place Plan consultation is complete, weโ€™re moving forward with plans to try and improve local pathways in Gartloch! In February, we met with Seven Lochs to discuss enhancing the routes from Bishop Loch to Easterhouse, improving connectivity for local residents.

These discussions were productive, and we are now in the process of identifying/applying for funding to develop and improve these pathways. The Community Council has been working hard to support this improvement, and we remain committed to seeking further investment as more opportunities become available.

Glasgow City Council has recognised concerns about road safety on B806 Gartloch Road, especially between Gartloch Road West Cottages and the boundary with North Lanarkshire Council.
